About Us

Adapted Learning Center is a team of clinicians in Larkspur, each trained to work with neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and mild to moderate learning disabilities. We match every student with the clinician who fits them best, and we partner closely with parents and schools from kindergarten through high school.

Caroline Towery, M.Ed., BCET

Owner & Founder, Board Certified Educational Therapist

Hi, I'm Caroline Towery, Founder of Adapted Learning Center. For over 15 years, I've worked as an Educational Therapist helping students and families navigate the ups and downs of learning differences like ADHD, dyslexia, and executive functioning challenges.

I started Adapted Learning Center because I believe no parent should feel alone in this journey. My passion is creating individualized learning plans that meet each student where they are — whether that means building reading and math skills, strengthening writing, or developing strategies for focus and organization.

At ALC, I work alongside a team of dedicated specialists who bring their own expertise and compassion to every session. Together, we support students from kindergarten through high school, and we partner closely with parents and schools to make sure every child has what they need to succeed.
